Day Of The Incident
What would you do if you found a delivery truck carrying Nike Cortez, Tailwind, and gear? Better yet, from 1985! The same year the 3rd Season of Stranger Things, the popular Netflix Series, is supposed to take place this coming 4th of July. If you answered, "Get whatever you can get your hands on!"; that's exactly what I did. Although, Nike's mysterious involvement with Hawkins, Indiana raises a lot of questions. Keep Reading for more on the story and my personal accounts as a witness to this unique event.
On June 6, 1985, several transport vehicles departed from Nike HQ in Beaverton, Oregon; carrying special cargo headed to various locations in the U.S. Delivery vehicles intended for the Hawkins High Athletic Dept, were last seen on surveillance footage passing through Hawkins, Indiana. The shipments, unfortunately, never made it to their destination.
