The Bremont Briefing
The evening kicked off with a short introduction by Bremont co-founder, Nick English. He and his Brother, Giles, started the company back in 2002, with a goal to make beautifully crafted watches of impeccable quality. Nick also introduced Bremont ambassador and FIA Formula E drive for the Panasonic Jaguar Racing Team, Mitch Evans, to share in translating the rich history behind Jaguar and Bremont's long time involvement with motorsports.
Continuing the Legacy
In 1955, the Jaguar D-type won its first Le Mans 24 hour race, and later secured two more wins, all between 1955 and 1957. Jaguar originally intended to build 100 D-type models but only completed 75 cars in 1955. Sixty four years later, since the first D-types were built, Jaguar decided to finish what they started by creating 25 all new, period-correct sports cars.

It has an outstanding record in the world's toughest motor races due to its robust engineering, something we champion at Bremont. Continuing its legacy by completing the original planned production is very special indeed and we're delighted to be celebrating with the launch of our new limited edition."
The new Timepiece will be limited to only 300 pieces, featuring a blue dialed bi-compax chronograph with brushed nickel sub-dials and a tachymeter dial ring. The large exhibition sapphire case back highlight a regal finished mechanical BE-50AE movement, and an intricate rotor inspired but the Jaguar steering wheel. The watch crown has the original Dunlop tyre tread etched into it and the heritage Jaguar Logo finished beautifully in enamel on its end. Finally the watch is set on a blue racing calf-skin strap.

The Manhattan Car Club
I can't imagine a better place to have an event like this than the Manhattan Car Club. Not only were there Jaguars in the garage, visitors got the chance to see other high profile cars such as Classic Broncos, Porsches, BMWs, and Ferraries to name a few of my favorites.
