As a music producer and artist, I've always been drawn to the world of art. The creative process of bringing something to life has always been a driving force in my life. When I first came to New York City, I was blown away by the sheer amount of art that surrounded me. From the towering skyscrapers to the intricate murals that adorned the city's walls, art was everywhere.
One of the most inspiring moments of my time in NEW YORK was when I encountered street art for the first time. I was struck by the rawness and authenticity of the medium. Each piece felt like an expression of the artist's soul, a way of communicating their message to the world.
Types of Street Art

There are many different styles of street art, each with its own unique characteristics. Wheat paste art is known for its pap-like texture and is often used to create large-scale murals. Spray paint is one of the most popular forms of street art and is known for its vibrant colors and bold lines. Sculpture is a more three-dimensional form of street art and can range from small, intricate pieces to massive installations, Marker art is a more precise and delicate form of street art, often used to create intricate designs and patterns. Finally, stickers are a popular form of street art due to their easy application and portability.

During my time in New York, I discovered some truly amazing street artists like Mr Toll, Dylan Egon, Baron Von Fancy, Jerkface, Sacsix, and Alec Monopoly. Each artist has their own unique style, humor, and approach to street art, but one thing they all have in common is their dedication to the craft. Creating Street art is not easy - it takes time, effort, and a willingness to take risks and experiment with new techniques.
But it is precisely this dedication and experimentation that makes street art so inspiring. It is a medium that allows artists to express themselves in a way that is truly their own. Whether it is through wheat paste, spray paint, sculpture, marker, or stickers, each form of street art is a testament to the power of creativity and self- expression.
Conclusion
As a musician and artist, I am constantly inspired by the world of street art. It reminds me to stay true to myself and to always strive for new ways of expressing my creativity. And who knows, maybe one day I'll even try my hand at creating my own pieces of street art.
