Introduction

Dylan Egon's "Paper Money" opening at 188 Allen Street Gallery was a fantastic celebration of art and commerce. The concept of making prints into money was not only a fun and creative play on our obsession with currency, but it was also a brilliant way to support the gallery itself. After all, money is a big part of creating space and experiences for artists and art-lovers alike.

Dylan Egon's Work

Dylan Egon's wheat pastes can be found in hidden pockets on the streets of New York NY. Those familiar with his work, know these bold, black and white illustrations of race horses, women, and surrealistic blends of animals and technology are hard to miss. In my previous post, Love New York, Where Art Meets Life, I discussed my appreciation for NY street art, where Dylan's pieces were among the many photos I captured.

"Paper Money" Exhibition

The "Paper Money" exhibition was a chance to get to know his work in greater detail. His prints were of an exceptional quality and were reasonably priced, making them a must-have for collectors. And his art extends beyond just prints - his unique style and subject matter can be found in clothing and jewelry as well.

Conclusion

The opening was a lively affair, with artists and art-lovers coming together to celebrate Dylan Egon's work and support the gallery. It was a great reminder that art and commerce can coexist in a mutually beneficial way. Dylan Egon's "Paper Money" exhibition was not just a celebration of his art, but also a celebration of the power of art to bring people together and support creativity.
